- Jalle and Christian
The Children of Grace have been supporting two Compassion Children since 2003. Christian Repalda is a male from the Philippines and Jalle Kalpana is an female from India. Students collect pennies during the week of Vacation Bible School to support Christian and Jalle. A total of $768 is needed each year to support them. In addition, the children of Grace lift up the Compassion Children through prayer and also communicate with them through letters and cards year round.
Power House (Wednesday evening programming) collects quarters each week to use towards a mission project. During the 2006-2007 school year students raised money to purchase two goats through Heifer International. During the 2007-2008 school year students purchased baby items to send with one of their leaders who took a mission trip to an orphanage in China. During the 2008-2009 school year, students have agreed to support the Munch Bunch Ministry that is sending snacks home with impoverished students from Nicklin Elementary.
