Creation Care Events Coming Up
Our Kid’s Earth Day Celebration ’09 will be held Saturday, April 25, beginning with a light meal at noon in the Conference Room. ALL kids in grades 1 to 6 are welcome and encouraged to join us for a field trip to a nearby organic chicken farm to learn more about their earth-friendly operation and see their new chicks! Mark your calendars now and watch for more details including a sign-up sheet and parent’s permission slip for the day!
Tree Planting—Janet Jackson will be sharing details soon for this community service project for the City of Piqua. Tentative date is May 16; plan now to join a planting team.
Wrapper Recycle! Save your energy/granola bar wrappers AND juice pouch containers (Like Capri Sun & Kool aid). We will soon have containers at the church to deposit them for recycling. The wrapper or pouch must have a shiny foil lining. Each wrapper or juice pouch earns .02 cents for either Troy Christian School or Sidney Christian School.
